Melissa Gourley, MSW, LSW
CEO
While completing her Bachelors of Arts degree at Ohio Dominican College, Melissa began her journey working with individuals with disabilities by providing direct care services for a supported living agency. After receiving her degree, the agency offered Melissa a supervisory/social work position. After finishing her Bachelor's degree, she returned to college to receive her Master's degree. During Melissa's second year in the Master's of Social Work program at The Ohio State University, she was offered a position at the OSU Nisonger Center. During the fellowship, Melissa helped to develop programs which benefit individuals with disabilities, provided counseling, facilitated groups, and taught a graduate level course at OSU. Melissa received her Master's degree in Social Work in June 2003. In August 2003, she co-founded UPREACH LLC. In 2006, she co-founded Learning Never Ends LLC. |

Beth Swegheimer
Administrator of Consumer Services
Beth attended the University of Cincinnati, where she majored in Psychology. She started her career working in a group home in 1989. She relocated to Columbus in 1994 and began a career as a Support Specialist. Beth continued to advance within the agency as she was promoted to Support Specialist Coordinator and Program Director. As a Program Director, Beth was responsible for hiring, scheduling and training support staff, coordinating medical services, overseeing and managing finances, and maintaining quality living conditions. She was also a part of a Quality Assurance Team which traveled to other states to monitor the quality of services provided to individuals with disabilities. In August 2003, Beth co-founded UPREACH LLC. In 2006, she co-founded Learning Never Ends LLC. |

Pat Selbe
Program Director
Pat joined UPREACH in 2007 as a Program Director. He brings extensive experience from his past public and private experience in the MRDD field. After graduating from The Ohio State University in 1993 with a B.A. in Psychology, Pat began his professional career with Dungarvin Ohio, a private provider of residential services for the developmentally disabled . he remained at Dungarvin for six years as a Program Director and new staff trainer. He joined the Franklin County Board of MRDD in the service Coordination Dept., where he served as Supported Living Service Coordinator and Placement Coordinator. |

Patrick Gourley
Human Resource Manager
Patrick, a graduate of Franklin University, is the Program Manager at UPREACH and Director of Life Changes of Ohio, an affiliate of The Upreach Group which provides in-home serves for the elderly. Patrick is responsible for Human Resources and Training and manages the day-to-day operations of the company. Patrick has extensive management, human resource, training and supervisory experience. He held various positions with Wendy's International over 15 years and was Director of Human Resources and Training with a franchisee in Western Michigan. Patrick also held various positions with Target Corp. over a 15-year career, most recently as a Guest Service Team Leader. He continues to hold a part-time position with Target. |

Charlene Shoveler
Program Manager
Charlene graduated high school in Princeton, WV, and attended classes at Concord College in Athens, WV, to work as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher while she attended classes to become an STNA. Charlene’s career started as a dispatcher while also working part-time as a nursing assistant caring for the elderly. In 1983, she went to work for Bluefield Hosp. Special Care Unit in Bluefield, WV. Over the years Charlene has also worked in home health care. Later Charlene had the opportunity to start working with individuals with developmental disabilities via a day program in Princeton, WV, at Southern Highlands Mental Health Center as an associate counselor before moving to Ohio. Since moving to Ohio, Charlene has worked for two other providers as a House Manager. She joined our team at Upreach in 2004 as a Support Care Specialist and was promoted to an On-Call Supervisor shortly after and then was promoted to Program Manager. Charlene brings 12 years of experience in working with the developmental disabled.

Rick Tucker
Medical Care Manager / Medical Coordinator
Rick started his healthcare career in 1980, working for the Ohio Dept. of MR/DD at the Mount Vernon Developmental Center. In 1997, he left the healthcare field for two years to work in business and banking. Since 1999, Rick has worked with supported living agencies and day programs in various capacities, in both direct care and management. Rick's Upreach journey began in 2004 as a part-time employee and he joined full-time in 2006. He is currently the Medical Care Manager/Medical Coordinator for Upreach. Jackie Rinehart
Office Manager & Branch Manager
Jackie majored in Business Office Education at Piketon High School and has been in the Office management field since graduating in 1969. She began working in the MRDD field in 1996 first as a support specialist then as a home manager, after meeting several consumers on a personal level.
Jackie joined Upreach, LLC as an Office Manager in 2005. She develops, revises, and updates ISP documentation, Creates and updates all office and consumer documentation, purchases all supplies and answers the phones.
Jackie also carries a case load as one of Upreach’s Program Manager, overseeing one of the houses with 3 ladies residing there. Jackie Strives to ensure her clients receive the best staffing for their needs, ensures they receive the maximum in quality living conditions. |

Diana Slayton
Financial Coordinator
Diana Slayton has served as Financial Coordinator to Individuals with Disabilities for nine years. She previously worked for Brooks Homes for three years and has worked for Upreach for six years. Services provided include assisting clients with budgets, bill paying, financial decisions and general oversight of their finances.

Sherryl Cooper
Office Assistant
Sherryl graduated from Hogan Senior High in 1981 and attended Solano Community College in California. She has 21 years experience in the field of serving the developmental disabled community. She began her career working from home, then worked at the Sonoma Development Center and the Napa State Hospital, both in California. She joined Upreach in 2008 as a fill-in for the office manager and became an employee in September 2009 as the receptionist. Her job consists of answering phones and assisting in other administrative office duties. |

Tamara Bokor
Scheduling Manager
Tamara has been employed with Upreach since May 2007 and has approximately 13 years of experience serving individuals with developmental disabilities. Her mission is to provide optimal support staff that enable and promote the confidence that individuals need to live as independently as possible.
Current positions held are Scheduling Manager and On-Call supervior. |

Chris Long
Scheduling Assistant
Chris joined the Upreach family in August 2004. As a Support Service Specialist, Chris gained valuable experience and life long skills which not only help him thrive professionally but also mentally. Throughout his career, Chris has been a Support Specialist, Site Lead, and now Scheduling Assistant. Chris believes through working with individuals with disabilitie, he is building a strong foundation for success. Currently, Chris is also a student at CSCC which he majors in interpreting/ American Sign Language Education Program. |

Jessica Kaba
Program Manager
Jessica is a 2001 graduate from West Liberty University in Wheeling, WV, with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and a Minor in Social Work. She started with Upreach in 2005 part time and was promoted to a Program Manager. She has worked in various areas of the Human Services field including the MRDD section for 12 years. Jessica has a great compassion and enjoys working with individuals with disabilities. |
